Partner with IWCA this Coffee Day

For National Coffee Day, International Coffee Day, or Any Day

...there are so many ways You Can support IWCA!

1. CAFEs or COFFEE RETAILERS

Feature women's coffee in cafes on and around Sept 29- Oct 1 and donate $ and/or % from coffee sold that day. For example, Equator Coffees has committed to feature 2 single origin coffees produced by women's cooperatives and donate 75 cents for each cup.

2. COFFEE ROASTERS

Donate $ or % per bag of roasted coffee sold from a women's coffee cooperative. For example, City Girl Coffee Company in Duluth, MN donates a portion of every sale to IWCA.

3. % DONATION

Donate % per total sales of the day, 20% is recommended. For example, Coffee by Design in Portland, ME is designating a % of their proceeds to IWCA for any Burundi coffee sold online or in stores on that day. Spyhouse Coffee Roasters plans to sell a coffee from a woman producer, with a portion of the proceeds from those sales dedicated to IWCA.

4. $ DONATION

Announce your support of IWCA on social media on National or International Coffee Day and submit a donation. We recommend $250 per store or location.

Social media announcement can be a short blurb example: “We’re supporting #womenincoffee this #nationalcoffeeday. You can too, by visiting: https://www.womenincoffee.org/takeaction/

5. SPREAD THE WORD

Email your network or include IWCA in a company newsletter to encourage their support of IWCA. To donate: https://www.womenincoffee.org/takeaction/

6. YOUR IDEA HERE

Have another idea in which you can partner with IWCA? Let us know! For example, Temple Coffee Roasters donates 100% of the profits from its bottled water sales to IWCA. Also, JNP Coffee is offering an additional 5 cents/lb premium to women coffee farmers, who include IWCA chapter women in Burundi, on the 2017 harvest/micro-lots purchased from JNP Coffee in the month of September.
