IWCA Bali 2026 Convention Cancelled

The International Women's Coffee Alliance has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Global Convention, originally scheduled for May 12-14, 2026 in Bali, Indonesia.

Current geopolitical conditions have created severe disruptions to international air travel, making it impossible for the majority of our global membership to travel safely and affordably to Indonesia. Members from Africa, Europe, and the Americas cannot reach Bali under these circumstances.

IWCA exists to build bridges across the global coffee community. We cannot hold a truly global gathering when geography and geopolitics prevent most of our network from participating.

Our Work Continues

While we cannot gather in Bali as planned, IWCA's mission continues across 37 chapters and six continents.

In 2026, we're moving forward with:

  • Build Bridges, Open Doors campaign – Supporting network infrastructure and leadership development

  • Women in Coffee Access & Training Grant Fund – Funding chapter-led initiatives

  • World of Coffee San Diego Breakfast – April 11, 2026

  • World of Coffee Brussels Reception – June 2026

Our chapters continue their work every day, advancing women's leadership and economic opportunity in coffee communities worldwide.

Thank You

We're grateful to the IWCA Indonesia Chapter, Bali Beach Hotel, our sponsors, and everyone who contributed to planning this gathering. Your partnership and commitment to this work mean everything.

We remain committed to bringing our global community together when international travel conditions stabilize. When that time comes, we'll gather with the same purpose that brought us to this moment: building a coffee industry where women lead, thrive, and shape the future.
