Volunteer with IWCA

Support the Global Network of Women in Coffee

The International Women’s Coffee Alliance is powered by people who believe in expanding opportunity for women across the coffee value chain.

Volunteers help IWCA strengthen connections between producing and consuming countries, support chapter initiatives, and share the stories and expertise of women throughout the global coffee community.

Whether you are a student, a coffee professional, or simply someone who believes in the mission, volunteering is a meaningful way to contribute your skills while becoming part of an international network.

Many volunteer opportunities can be done remotely from anywhere in the world.

Micro-Volunteer Opportunities

Some projects are structured as short-term volunteer opportunities that allow people to contribute in a focused way.

Examples may include:

  • Supporting a digital storytelling or social media project

  • Helping organize or clean up CRM or contact data

  • Assisting with translation or bilingual communications

  • Contributing to a newsletter or campaign

Have Another Way You’d Like to Help?

Volunteers bring a wide range of experience, creativity, and ideas.

If you have skills you’d like to contribute or an idea for how you could support IWCA’s mission—even if it isn’t listed here—we would love to hear from you.

Want to help, but Not sure you can commit to a volunteer role?

No problem! Helping IWCA can be as simple as building awareness and support! For example:

  • Follow IWCA on social media and spread the word to your network about our work.

  • Become familiar with what empowerment can accomplish by reading (and sharing!) the IWCA Case Studies.

  • Consider hosting your own fund- and awareness-building event. It can be as simple as asking guests to your next party to give to IWCA in lieu of gifts, or as complex as hosting an event in your community.
