This year, we’re honored to welcome Helen Russell as our keynote speaker. Helen is the Co-Founder and Executive Chair of Equator Coffees, a pioneering B Corp–certified roaster she has helped lead for more than 30 years. A longtime industry leader, Helen has been at the forefront of values-driven sourcing, direct trade relationships, and long-term partnerships at origin, shaping how specialty coffee thinks about ethics, impact, and stewardship.

For more than two decades, the IWCA network has been building bridges that connect producers with markets, women with leadership opportunities, and communities with the resources they need to thrive. Helen’s work reflects that same long view—one rooted in relationships, responsibility, and the understanding that the future of coffee depends on how we invest in people today.
