2025 IWCA Annual Report: A Look at What the Network Built

Every chapter in the IWCA network showed up in 2025. They launched programs, welcomed new members, and did the consistent, resiliant work that moves women forward in coffee. Across six continents, that work added up to something significant.

A global network of women in coffee showed up in 2025. Chapter by chapter, across six continents, they launched programs, built connections, and moved their communities forward. The 2025 IWCA Annual Report is now published — a full account of what that work looked like and what it produced.

The year brought significant milestones. IWCA completed its regional coordinator network, placing four coordinators across Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East, Asia and Oceania, and Consuming Countries. Every chapter in the global network now has direct access to coordination, resources, and support.

The Women in Coffee Access and Training Grant Fund launched and delivered its first grant. Monserrat Cornet, who won the IWCA Spain Espréssate championship competing against 29 women, received €1,500 to compete at Spain's National Barista Championship. She placed in the top six and is now mentoring the next cohort of women baristas in Spain. The fund exists to remove the financial barriers that stand between capable women and the next step.

None of it happens without the donors, supporters, partners, and chapter leaders who keep this work moving. The 2025 Annual Report is a record of what that commitment produced.
