Support IWCA Venezuela Earthquake Relief
Our Venezuela chapter is on the ground in La Guaira. Help them keep feeding families and supporting rescue operations.
When the ground shook in La Guaira on June 24, the IWCA Venezuela Chapter was already moving.
No waiting for instructions. No pause to assess whether it was their responsibility. The women of IWCA Venezuela looked at their community in crisis and did what they have always done: they showed up.
Within days, chapter members were on the ground preparing meals, supporting rescue operations, and walking alongside families navigating the most disorienting days of their lives. The earthquake took a great deal from La Guaira. What it could not take was the network of women who had spent years building relationships, trust, and capacity precisely for moments like this.
That is what IWCA chapters are. Not programs. Not projects. People who are already there.
Today, IWCA Global is asking our global community to back them up.
We have launched a fundraising campaign to get resources directly to the IWCA Venezuela Chapter by July 8, 2026. Every dollar raised goes straight to their relief work: food, supplies, and the operational capacity to keep responding without interruption.
This is not a moment for long explanations. The need is clear. The people doing the work are clear. What they need is fuel to keep going.

Cuando la tierra tembló en La Guaira el 24 de junio, el Capítulo IWCA Venezuela ya estaba en movimiento.
Sin esperar instrucciones. Sin detenerse a evaluar si era su responsabilidad. Las mujeres de IWCA Venezuela miraron a su comunidad en crisis e hicieron lo que siempre han hecho: estuvieron presentes.
En cuestión de días, las integrantes del capítulo ya estaban en terreno preparando comidas, apoyando operaciones de rescate y acompañando a familias que atraviesan los días más difíciles de sus vidas. El terremoto arrebató mucho a La Guaira. Lo que no pudo arrebatar fue la red de mujeres que durante años construyeron relaciones, confianza y capacidad precisamente para momentos como este.
Eso son los capítulos de IWCA. No programas. No proyectos. Personas que ya están ahí.

Lanzamos una campaña de recaudación de fondos para llevar recursos directamente al Capítulo IWCA Venezuela antes del 8 de julio de 2026. Cada dólar recaudado va directamente a su trabajo de respuesta humanitaria: alimentos, insumos y la capacidad operativa para seguir respondiendo sin interrupciones.
Este no es un momento para largas explicaciones. La necesidad es clara. Las personas que están haciendo el trabajo son claras. Lo que necesitan es respaldo para seguir adelante.
