IWCA participated in the recent Inter-Regional Forum "Hacia el Ingreso Digno de los Productores" (Inter-Regional Forum for Dignified Income of Coffee Producers) held in Antigua, Guatemala. World of Coffee 2024 in Copenhagen drew a record-breaking 12,600+ attendees from 140 countries, and the International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA) made a significant impact. Executive Director Blanca Castro shared inspiring updates on IWCA’s global initiatives and celebrated two major MoUs: one with the African Fine Coffees Association (AFCA) to support women coffee producers in Eastern Africa and another establishing Greece as IWCA's 35th chapter. At a recent two-day event in Minneapolis, IWCA's Blanca Castro joined a panel celebrating the legacy of Caribou Coffee's original roastmaster, Amy Erickson.
